There’s something hopeful about the beginning of a new day, week, month, or a new year. It’s not that everything magically resets, but rather that we get a chance to choose what stays and what goes in our lives. You get to swap out habits that no longer sustain you with healthier habits that move you forward without feeling overwhelmed!
This year, instead of pursuing dramatic makeovers or strict detoxes, we invite you to embrace something more sustainable: a Routine Reset. This reset is built on small, repeatable habits that make your home, your body, and your energy feel lighter, cleaner, and more supported and productive every single day.
We encourage you to challenge yourself. Consider choosing one morning habit and one evening habit and commit to them for 7 days.
After celebrating the success of the 7-day shifts, try adding another habit to the reset.

Don't know where to start?
What self-care options come to mind? Review any "not so great" habits you picked up through the holidays, like a change in sleep schedule, eating, or an overloaded schedule.
Identify what simple shifts you would like to make starting today (not Monday)?
Maybe it's a quick morning journaling before the house wakes up, practicing gratitude journaling before bed, experimenting with a new journaling technique, or simply getting your diffuser started each morning. But let's take a closer look at some options.
Journaling Suggestions:
- Take the journal off the shelf and put it in your path.
- Gather any fun supplies and tools you've collected that might come in handy while you're journaling. New pens, gel pens, washi tape, stickers, etc.
- Journal a list of habits that used to work for you, but you've let slide, or that you'd like to increase.
- Consider incorporating a daily journaling practice into your routine.
- Set your intentions for the day each morning.
- Journal throughout the day to clear your mind, plan, focus, and recap. You'll free your mind for the evening and have a clear, prioritized plan for the next day.
- Use a quiet moment at the end of your day to focus on gratitude.
- Purchase a guided journal like "Find Your Voice, Live Your Purpose" to support you as you get started and guide you along the steps ahead.
- Mark your calendar with dates of upcoming classes or vendor events to support your new focus and reset! See our EVENTS page for ideas.
Journaling can help ground you and bring clarity as you begin each day with the focus on improvements through the year.

Essential Oils Focus:
- Explore the oils you already have in your inventory. Are there oils that you're underusing?
- Start your diffuser each morning with uplifting oils to help you focus and create a positive atmosphere as you begin your day!
- Pick an essential oil and brush up on your knowledge of its attributes and uses. Especially any oils that you know you purchased for a specific reason, but no longer remember what that was. Perhaps choose one oil to study in-depth—learn about its benefits, uses, and how it can support your well-being.
- Are there oils you're underusing? We all get in a rut with our favorite morning oils and diffuser recipes. Need inspiration? We have free seasonal recipes on our RESOURCES page, plus a link to additional ideas at the bottom of this post.
- There are fun and informative apps, manuals, books, etc., that we access for education and inspiration. If you're looking for suggestions, check our blog posts or send us a message.
- Consider an essential oil blend you may not have tried before, like Believe™. Believe™ is a combination of Idaho Grand Fir, Coriander, Bergamot, Frankincense, Idaho Blue Spruce, Ylang Ylang, and Geranium. This blend may encourage feelings of faith, inner strength, and vitality when used aromatically or applied topically during times of self-reflection and self-belief.

As you begin this Routine Reset, remember: small, steady steps beat overwhelming overhauls every time.
Your home, your body, and your energy are worth the slow, steady care you’re choosing today. We’re cheering you on all along the way.
If you’d like a little extra guidance, here are two simple ways to plug in this week:
- Pick one morning habit and one evening habit to try for the next 7 days. Keep it visible—a sticky note on your mirror, a reminder in your journal, or a post-it on your diffuser.
- Explore a new journaling prompt or essential oil idea each day. You can start with our daily suggestions on the RESOURCES page or hop into a guided journaling exercise from "Find Your Voice, Live Your Purpose."

We’re here to support you.
Share your wins, questions, or a habit you’re reintroducing in the comments or via our contact page. If you’re curious about a pairing of journaling and essential oils tailored to your energy and season, we’d love to help.
